耶稣，绝望中的拯救

Hello everyone, my name is Jose Donoso. I’m from Chile. My family and I have been living in New Zealand for almost a year now. We’ve been at OTBC since the middle of Feb this year, when the first English Class started.

大家好，我叫Jose Donoso。我来自智利。我和我的家人已经在新西兰生活了将近一年了。自从今年二月中旬第一堂英语课开始以来，我们一直在OTBC参加活动。

¡Hola a todos! Mi nombre es José Donoso. Soy de Chile. Mi familia y yo hemos estado viviendo en Nueva Zelanda durante casi un año ahora. Hemos estado en OTBC desde mediados de febrero de este año, cuando comenzó la primera clase de inglés.

Before we joined the English Class at OTBC, we were going through a very tough time, when I wasn’t getting any response to the job applications I had sent out. I tried my best, but things just weren’t moving forward.

在我们加入OTBC的英语课之前，我们经历了非常艰难的时期，当时我发出的工作简历没有得到任何回应。我尽了最大的努力，但事情就是无法前进。

Antes de unirnos a la clase de inglés en OTBC, estábamos pasando por un momento muy difícil, cuando no recibía ninguna respuesta a las solicitudes de trabajo que había enviado. Hice todo lo posible, pero las cosas simplemente no avanzaban.

One day, I was completely exhausted, and thinking of giving up and going back to Chile with the family. I was at breaking point. So I prayed in my heart desperately, “Lord, I want to give up looking for a job here. I’ve done all I can. I can’t do it anymore.” After praying, I turned to my wife and said, “honey, I can't do it anymore. I don't know what else to do to find a job that can sponsor me." She took my hands and replied, "Don’t worry about it. If we have to go back, we will, and it won't be a failure. At least we’ve tried."

有一天，我感到彻底筋疲力尽，考虑放弃并与家人一起回到智利。我到了崩溃的边缘。于是我在心中绝望地祷告：“主啊，我想放弃在这里找工作了。我已经尽了全力。我再也做不到了。”祷告之后，我转向我的妻子说：“亲爱的，我真的做不到了。我不知道还能做什么来找到雇主担保我的工作。”她握着我的手回答说：“别担心。如果我们必须回去，我们会的，但这不会是失败，至少我们已经尽力了。”

Un día, estaba completamente agotado y pensaba en rendirme y regresar a Chile con mi familia. Estaba al límite. Así que oré desesperadamente en mi corazón: "Señor, quiero renunciar a buscar trabajo aquí. He hecho todo lo que puedo. Ya no puedo más". Después de orar, me volví hacia mi esposa y le dije: "cariño, ya no puedo más. No sé qué más hacer para encontrar un trabajo que pueda patrocinarme". Ella tomó mis manos y respondió: "No te preocupes por eso. Si tenemos que regresar, lo haremos, y no será un fracaso. Al menos lo hemos intentado".

That day we cried together. But I felt that God filled my heart with strength and courage.  So I said to my wife, "honey, we’ve shed enough tears, now we have to stand up and move forward because God didn't bring us here to fail." That day, I felt like Joshua and Caleb, conquering the land of the giants.

那天我们一起哭了。但我感到了神充满了我的心，赋予了我力量和勇气。所以我对我的妻子说：“亲爱的，我们已经流了足够的眼泪，现在我们必须站起来，向前迈进，因为神不是让我们失败的。”那一天，我感觉自己像是约书亚和迦勒，征服了巨人之地。

Ese día lloramos juntos. Pero sentí que Dios llenó mi corazón de fuerza y valor. Así que le dije a mi esposa: "cariño, hemos llorado suficiente, ahora tenemos que levantarnos y seguir adelante porque Dios no nos trajo aquí para fracasar". Ese día, me sentí como Josué y Caleb, conquistando la tierra de los gigantes.

Later that afternoon, while browsing on social media, my wife sent me a notice about the free English classes at OTBC. I said, "Let's go!" I quickly filled out the registration form, and we went to OTBC. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. We met Kayla, who kindly offered to take my daughters to the youth group, to give them extra support with their English, and the chance to socialize with other young people in a safe environment. In that moment, we sensed that God had a plan for us.

那天下午，当我在社交媒体上浏览时，我的妻子给我发了一条关于OTBC免费英语课程的通知。我说：“我们去吧！”我迅速填写了报名表，然后我们去了OTBC。当我们到达时，我们受到了热烈的欢迎。我们遇到了Kayla，她友好地提出带我的女儿们去青年团契，给她们额外的英语支持，以及在一个安全的环境中与其他年轻人社交的机会。在那一刻，我们感到神为我们安排了一个计划。

Más tarde esa tarde, mientras navegaba en las redes sociales, mi esposa me envió una notificación sobre las clases de inglés gratuitas en OTBC. ¡Dije, "Vamos!" Rápidamente llené el formulario de inscripción y fuimos a OTBC. Cuando llegamos, nos recibieron cálidamente. Conocimos a Kayla, quien amablemente se ofreció a llevar a mis hijas al grupo de jóvenes para brindarles apoyo adicional con su inglés y la oportunidad de socializar con otros jóvenes en un entorno seguro. En ese momento, sentimos que Dios tenía un plan para nosotros.

We started attending the church service regularly, and we felt embraced by God’s family here. One day, after the 2pm service, Jane and Raymond prayed with us, asking God for a job for me, if it's His will for us to remain in New Zealand, and to be able to support our daughters' education here.

我们开始定期参加教会敬拜，并感受到从神的家人们对我们的拥抱关怀。一天，在下午2点的敬拜结束后，Jane和Raymond跟我们一起祷告，请求神为我找到一份工作，如果留在新西兰是祂的旨意，并能在这里支持我们女儿们上学。

Comenzamos a asistir regularmente al servicio de la iglesia, y nos sentimos abrazados por la familia de Dios aquí. Un día, después del servicio de las 2 p. m., Jane y Raymond oraron con nosotros, pidiéndole a Dios un trabajo para mí, si es su voluntad que permanezcamos en Nueva Zelanda, y poder apoyar la educación de nuestras hijas aquí.

To cut a long story short...guess what happened? God answered our prayers! Through Alan and Kayla’s love and their faith in God, He has blessed me with a job! I signed a job contract with Alan’s accounting firm last Monday. I'll be working at a prestigious accounting firm with a sponsorship, alongside Alan. This opportunity allows us to stay here, to be a part of this church, to be a part of this family. Praise God.

长话短说...猜猜发生了什么？神回答了我们的祷告！通过Alan和Kayla的爱心和他们对神的信心，神赐予了我一份工作！我上周一与Alan的会计公司签订了一份工作合同。我将在这家有雇主担保资格的知名会计公司工作，与Alan一起工作。这个机会让我们能够留在这里，成为这个教会的一部分，成为这个家庭的一部分。感谢赞美神。

Para resumir la historia... ¿adivinen qué pasó? ¡Dios respondió nuestras oraciones! A través del amor de Alan y Kayla y su fe en Dios, Él me ha bendecido con un trabajo. Firmé un contrato de trabajo con la firma de contabilidad de Alan el pasado lunes. Trabajaré en una prestigiosa firma de contabilidad con patrocinio, junto a Alan. Esta oportunidad nos permite quedarnos aquí, ser parte de esta iglesia, ser parte de esta familia. Alabado sea Dios.

All of this has helped me understand that God has perfect timing and provided a good place for me, as His word says in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Moreover, as a child of God, He will place me where I can be blessed and be able to grow in Him, becoming a blessing to others, as Paul said in Acts 16:31, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." I’ll live and walk believing in the word of God. And I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. As Joshua 24:15 says, "...But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord."

这一切让我明白神的安排有完美的时间，并为我提供了一个好地方，正如祂的话在《耶利米书》29:13中所说：“你们寻求我，若专心寻求我，就必寻见。”而且，作为神的孩子，祂会将我安置在我可以得到祝福并在祂里面成长的地方，成为祂人的祝福，正如保罗在《使徒行传》16:31中所说：“当信主耶稣，你和你一家都必得救。”我将活在并遵循神的话中。我相信主耶稣基督。正如《约书亚记》24:15所说：“至于我和我家，我们必侍奉耶和华。”

Todo esto me ha ayudado a comprender que Dios tiene un tiempo perfecto y me ha proporcionado un buen lugar, como dice Su palabra en Jeremías 29:13: " Me buscaréis y me encontraréis cuando me busquéis de todo corazón.". Además, como hijo de Dios, Él me colocará donde pueda ser bendecido y pueda crecer en Él, convirtiéndome en una bendición para otros, como dijo Pablo en Hechos 16:31: " ―Cree en el Señor Jesús; así tú y tu familia seréis salvos —le contestaron.". Viviré y caminaré creyendo en la palabra de Dios. Y creo en el Señor Jesucristo. Como dice Josué 24:15: "... Por mi parte, mi familia y yo serviremos al Señor .".
