【罗6:12-13】所以，不要容罪在你们必死的身上作王，使你们顺从身子的私欲。也不要将你们的肢体献给罪作不义的器具；倒要像从死里复活的人，将自己献给神，并将肢体作义的器具献给神。【Romans6:12-13】Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness.

保罗给信徒阐明真理，当看自己向罪是死的，向神是活的，并要拿出一个坚决的态度，不容罪在我们必死的身上作王， In this passage, Paul explains to the believers the truth about living in victory over sin. He emphasizes that believers should consider themselves dead to sin and alive to God, adopting a resolute attitude to not allow sin to reign in their mortal bodies. 不给罪留一点机会让它来辖制我们，竭力抵挡罪到流血流泪的地步，Sin should not have any opportunity to dominate, and they must resist it vigorously, even to the point of shedding blood and tears. 保守自己的心不容私欲迷惑我们， 雅各说：“私欲既怀了胎，就生出罪来；罪既长成，就生出死来。”The heart must be guarded from being deceived by lust, for as James says, “Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. (James1:15 )” 罪的工价就是死，结局是我们承担不起的。The wages of sin is death, and the final outcome is a price we cannot afford to pay.

我们每天活着就是一场属灵争战，我们顺服谁就做谁的奴仆。Every day we live is a spiritual battle, and we become slaves to whoever we choose to obey. 若我们心被世界的私欲所迷惑，照着自己心中所喜好的去行，相信了世界的价值观，花大量的时间精力财力来满足自己的私欲，体贴肉体，不想受苦，总要保养顾惜必死的身体，如果我们随着肉体的欲望行事，那就是顺从了肉体的情欲，If our hearts are deceived by the lusts of the world and we live according to our own desires, believing in the world’s values, spending time, energy, and resources to satisfy those desires, and caring for our perishing bodies, we are yielding to the flesh. 这样我们就渐渐地落入了罪的支配之下，最终罪将成为我们的王。This leads to a gradual submission to sin’s dominion, and ultimately, sin becomes our master.

若我们顺从圣灵，体贴圣灵的意思，天天思想天上的事，把自己献给神。凡事以基督的心为心，However, if we follow the Holy Spirit and live according to His will, focusing on heavenly things and offering ourselves to God, we are to take on the mind of Christ. 每天活着为竭力追求认识祂，敬畏祂，恨恶一切的罪，以圣洁的妆饰为衣，甘心牺牲自己。Our daily goal should be to earnestly seek to know Him, fear Him, and abhor all sin, clothing ourselves with holiness and willingly sacrificing our lives. 活着的每一天更多的爱祂，心思意念完全的被祂所占据，成为义的器具为祂所用。Every day should be an opportunity to love Him more, with our thoughts and intentions fully occupied by Him, becoming instruments of righteousness for His use. 如大卫的祷告：愿我口中的言语，心里的意念，在你面前蒙悦纳。As David prayed, “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.”

主啊，信你这么多年，我常常是容罪作王，把自己献给罪作不义的器具，生命极其贫穷，心灵也极其软弱，所结的都是坏果子，自害己命。Lord, having believed in You for many years, I confess that I have often allowed sin to reign and have given myself to unrighteousness, leading a life of spiritual poverty and weakness, bearing bad fruit and bringing harm to myself.  如今要转道，结束这样悲惨的人生，我要把自己献给你做义的器具。But now I turn from this tragic path. I want to present myself to You as an instrument of righteousness.  因信，经历死里复活的大能，每天竭力与罪争战，不容罪在我必死的身上作王。By faith, I experience the power of Your resurrection, and I will fight against sin daily, refusing to let sin rule in my mortal body.  脱去旧人，穿上新人，远离一切的罪恶，靠圣灵治死身体的恶行，追求圣洁，成为尊贵的器皿合乎主用。I will put off the old self and put on the new self, turning away from all evil, putting to death the deeds of the body through the Holy Spirit, and striving for holiness, that I might become a vessel of honor, fit for Your use. （郭姊妹Sister Guo）
