【约壹4:16】神爱我们的心，我们也知道、也信。神就是爱！住在爱里面的，就是住在神里面，神也住在他里面。【1 John4:4】And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

约翰用很大的篇幅来讲神的爱，不是我们爱神，乃是神爱我们，差祂的儿子为我们的罪作了挽回祭。John devoted much of his writing to talking about God’s love. It is not that we love God, but that God loves us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.祂因爱我们受尽苦痛鞭伤和刑罚，从头到脚没有一处是完全的，祂爱我们至深，He suffered all kinds of pain, whipping, and punishment because of His love for us. From head to toe, there was no part of Him left unscarred. He loves us deeply.在最痛的时候还在为我们这些罪人祈求：“父啊，赦免他们，他们所行的他们不晓得。”这份爱何等长阔高深，融化了我们冰冷的心，神爱我们的心，我们深知道深信。In His most painful moment, He still prayed for us sinners: “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”How long, wide, high, and deep is this love, which melts our cold hearts. We know and believe deeply that God loves us.

我不禁问主：“我是谁，你为何如此，爱我这么深，你竟为我受死，毫无保留，流尽宝血，为要洗净我的污秽；I can’t help but ask the Lord: “Who am I that You love me so deeply, die for me without reservation, and shed all Your precious blood to cleanse my filth?你为爱我，喝了那苦杯，张开双手，甘心为我牺牲把自己钉在十架上，流尽最后一滴血。Because of Your love for me, You drank the bitter cup, opened Your hands, willingly sacrificed Yourself for me, and allowed Yourself to be nailed to the cross, shedding the last drop of blood.用你的生命换回我的生命，救我不救你自己，何等深情，把我从黑暗之地带到爱子光明的国度，与神和好，与人和好，从咒诅变为祝福。You exchanged Your life for mine, saving me instead of saving Yourself. How affectionate is Your love, bringing me from the dark land into the kingdom of light, the kingdom of the beloved Son, reconciling me with God and others, and turning the curse into a blessing.”

亲爱的主，我拿什么报答你向我所赐的一切厚恩呢？你指示我，在你眼中，你看圣民之死极为宝贵。Dear Lord, how can I repay You for all the great favours You have bestowed upon me? You have shown me that Precious in the sight of You is the death of Your faithful servants.是的，你已经为我们做了榜样，顺服至死且死在十字架上，父得了荣耀，你还要再荣耀，就是借着我们可以承接你的使命，进入这荣耀的呼召。Yes, You have set an example for us, obeying to death and dying on the cross. The Father has been glorified, and You will be glorified again—through us, as we take on Your mission and enter this glorious calling.爱是死己，爱是牺牲，爱是顺服……仅此一生，倾倒一生为你而活。Love is death to self; love is sacrifice; love is obedience. Only by pouring out our lives to live for You can we truly reflect this love.

神就是爱，住在爱里面的，就是住在神里面，神也住在他里面。好感动的话语，心里长存神的爱就与主联合，永不分离。God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. What a touching truth. If we keep God’s love in our hearts, we will be united with the Lord and never be separated from Him.神的爱总是温暖我们的心灵，让我们心灵得满足，不再索取，而是付出，真实品尝施比受更为有福。God’s love always warms and satisfies our hearts. We no longer ask for anything but to give, and we truly taste that giving is more blessed than receiving.何等恩典，因主的牺牲，我们可以浸泡在神的爱里，满足在祂的爱里，每天行活人之道，彼此相爱，纪念主，感恩主，荣耀主。What grace! Because of the Lord’s sacrifice, we can be immersed in God’s love, satisfied by His love, walk the path of life each day, love one another, remember the Lord, thank the Lord, and glorify the Lord. (郭姊妹Sister Guo)
