【雅1:22】只是你们要行道，不要单单听道，自己欺哄自己。【James1:22 】Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

为何要行道呢？雅各说：“因为听道而不行道的，就像人对着镜子看自己本来的面目，看见，走后，随即忘了他的相貌如何。” Why do we need to do what it says? James said, “Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.”神的道如一面镜子，照出我们的本相；只听道，知道真理却不去行真理，就是自己欺哄自己。God’s word is like a mirror that reflects our true appearance; if we only hear the word and know the truth but do not walk in the truth, we are deceiving ourselves.若有人以为自己知道什么，按他所当知道的，他仍是不知道。若我们没有行道，就缺乏属灵的敏锐，很容易忽略圣灵的光照，忘了自己的本相，无法结出悔改的果子。Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know (1Cor8:2). If we do not practise the word, we lack spiritual sensitivity, and it is easy to ignore the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, forget our true appearance, and fail to bear the fruit of repentance.

耶稣基督道成肉身，为我们做了榜样，凡事的顺服到底。Jesus Christ became flesh and set an example for us to obey everything to the end.经上说：“凡听见我这话就去行的，好比一个聪明人，把房子盖在磐石上。雨淋，水冲，风吹，撞着那房子，房子总不倒塌，因为根基立在磐石上。As Scripture says, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.凡听见我这话不去行的，好比一个无知的人，把房子盖在沙土上。雨淋，水冲，风吹，撞着那房子，房子就倒塌了，并且倒塌得很大”。But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”行道就是智慧聪明人，不行道是无知和自欺，根基毁坏，生命枯竭。Those who practise the truth are wise and discerning, while those who do not practise the truth are ignorant and self-deceiving, with their foundations destroyed and their lives dried up.

主啊，求你赦免我们喜欢听新鲜的道理，聚会每场必到，甚至以自己知道很多的知识为可夸的，被迷惑至深，还以这知识为生命了。Lord, please forgive us for liking to listen to new doctrines, attending every meeting, and even boasting of our knowledge. We are deeply deceived and regard this knowledge as our life.多少年过去，属灵生命一点都没有因着自己听道多而被改变，反倒因听道多成了法利赛人，能说不能行，自己欺哄自己，遇到雨淋，水冲，风吹，就立刻跌倒了。After so many years, our spiritual lives have not been changed at all by listening to many sermons. Instead, we have become like the Pharisees, for we do not practice what they preach, deceiving ourselves. When we encounter rain, floods, and winds, we immediately fall.

主啊，你找我们所要的是什么呢？就是要我们行公义，好怜悯，存谦卑的心与我的主同行。Lord, what do You require of us? You want us to act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with our God.你所喜悦的就是虚心痛悔因你的话而战兢的人，不单要听道还要去行道，神是与行道的人同在。You are pleased with those who are humble and repentant and tremble at Your words. They should not only listen to the Word but also do it. God is with those who do it.主啊，我渴慕与你面对面，带领我竭力的否定自己，背起自己的十字架，爱你不爱自己，尊神为大，敬畏神，只愿你的旨意成就；Lord, I long to be face to face with You. Lead me to deny myself with all my strength, take up my cross, love You instead of myself, honour God, fear God, and only wish that Your will be done;立定心志不为自己活，乃是为我死而复活的主活，靠主结出丰富生命的果子，成为祝福的管道。make up my mind not to live for myself, but to live for the Lord who died and rose again for me, to bear the fruit of abundant life by relying on the Lord, and to become a channel of blessing. (郭姊妹Sister Guo)
