【彼前2：9】惟有你们是被拣选的族类，是有君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国度，是属神的子民，要叫你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。【1 Peter2:9】But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

在旧约，只有以色列人是神的选民。我们从前算不得子民，现在却作了神的子民。我是谁，竟蒙这样的怜恤呢？ In the Old Testament, only the Israelites were God’s chosen people. We once were not a people, but now we are the people of God. Who am I, that I should receive such mercy? 世界说，你的身份在乎你有什么，你做什么。The world says that your identity depends on what you have and what you do. 经上说：惟有你们是被拣选的族类，是有君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国度，是属神的子民。But the Scripture says: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession.”在神的眼中，我们的身份是何等的尊贵和荣耀！In God’s eyes, our identity is of great honor and glory!

在万民中，神特别的拣选了我们，不是因为我们比别人好，是因着他的怜悯。 Among all nations, God has especially chosen us, not because we are better than others, but because of His mercy. 他使我们成为君尊的祭司，有着王室贵族的荣耀，因为我们侍奉的是万王之王、万主之主。He has made us a royal priesthood, bearing the honor of royalty, for we serve the King of kings and Lord of lords. 我们能分别为圣，成为神国的子民，是因着耶稣的舍命，神儿子的灵住在我们里面。这荣耀的身份是神的恩典和赐予。We are set apart as holy and become citizens of God’s kingdom through Jesus’ sacrifice, with the Spirit of the Son of God dwelling within us. This glorious identity is God’s grace and gift.

主啊，我要感谢赞美你，原本我们是属地的，走向死亡的，没有指望的，是耶稣来到地上，拯救我们，召我们出黑暗入光明，并给我们荣耀的呼召，来宣扬神拯救的美德。Lord, I want to thank and praise You. Originally, we were earthly, heading toward death, and without hope, but Jesus came to earth to save us, calling us out of darkness into light and giving us a glorious calling to proclaim the excellencies of God’s salvation. 求主赦免我，因着不信这属天的身份，信从世界的谎言，被人说好就高兴，被人说不好就沮丧，做了人的奴仆…Lord, forgive me for not believing in this heavenly identity, for believing the lies of the world, being pleased when praised by others, and discouraged when criticized, becoming a servant of people…

主，这一刻，我转向你的真理，我宣告我相信在基督里我的身份！Lord, in this moment, I turn to Your truth, and I declare that I believe in my identity in Christ! 是的，我是被拣选的族类，是君尊的祭司，是圣洁的国度，是属神的子民…I am a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own possession. 主啊，你是陶匠，我是属你的，求你掌管我，因信接受你的塑造，成为圣洁，站在神和人中间代求代祷，向万国万民述说神的荣耀作为，使更多在黑暗中的百姓，归向我们神光明的国度！Yes, Lord, You are the Potter, and I am Yours. I ask You to take control of me. By faith, I accept Your molding to become holy, to stand in the gap and intercede between God and people, and to proclaim God’s glorious works to the nations so that more people in darkness may turn to the kingdom of light, the kingdom of our God!（付传道Pastor Fu）
