【撒下24:14】大卫对迦得说：“我甚为难。我愿落在耶和华的手里，因为他有丰盛的怜悯，我不愿落在人的手里。”【2Sa 24:14】David said to Gad, "I am in deep distress. Let us fall into the hands of the LORD , for his mercy is great; but do not let me fall into the hands of men."

大卫出于骄傲，受到魔鬼试探，进行百姓的人数数点，大大得罪神了，神借迦得先知告诉他神对罪的审判，降三样的灾随大卫选择，大卫听后甚为难。Out of pride, David was tempted by the devil and conducted a census, which greatly offended God. God, through the prophet Gad, revealed His judgment on David's sin and gave him three choices of punishment. Upon hearing this, David was deeply troubled.他不想因为自己的罪，使整个属神的国遭受影响，面对神对他的管教，他说，他更情愿是落在耶和华的手里，因他信神是爱，耶和华有丰盛的怜悯。 He did not want his sin to affect the entire kingdom of God. Faced with God’s discipline, he said he would rather fall into the hands of Jehovah, because he believed that God is love and that Jehovah is rich in mercy.

神是何等信实的主，是烈火，轻慢不得的，祂完全的圣洁公义，断不会以有罪的为无罪，必施行审判，照着各人所行的审判各人。祂也为千万人存留慈爱，赦免罪孽，过犯和罪恶。od is such a faithful Lord, a consuming fire, not to be mocked, and His perfect holiness and righteousness will never acquit the guilty. He will judge everyone according to what they have done. He also extends mercy to thousands, forgiving iniquity, transgression, and sin.大卫一生和主建立了亲密的关系，他认识神，在甚为难之中他选择把自己交给神，知道神仍然是爱，有丰盛的怜悯。David established a close relationship with the Lord throughout his life. He knew God. In the midst of great difficulties, he chose to surrender himself to God, knowing that God is still love and rich in mercy.

主啊，借着这前车之鉴警戒我们，凡心里骄傲的为耶和华所憎，罪的工价是大的。求主赦免我们的罪，忘了自己的本相，因神怜悯拣选我们成为祂手中的工作，我们却得意忘形，偷窃神的荣耀，行了神眼中看为恶的事。Lord, let this lesson serve as a warning to us, that everyone who is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord, and the wages of sin are great. Please forgive us for our sins and for forgetting our true nature. Because God mercifully chose us to be the work of His hands, we became proud, stole God’s glory, and did evil in His eyes.因着神有丰盛的怜悯，不纠察我们的罪孽，为要我们敬畏祂，惟有把自己交在神手中，悔改归正，因信神的恩典，使我们有活着的指望。Yet, because God is rich in mercy, He does not hold our sins against us so that we may fear Him. We can only put ourselves in God’s hands, repent, and turn back to Him, believing in His grace, so that we may have hope of life.

先知耶利米说：“我们不致消灭，是出于耶和华诸般的慈爱；是因他的怜悯不致断绝。”我们本是应当灭亡的，但神怜悯我们，甚至将他的独生子耶稣基督赐给我们，叫一切信他的不至灭亡，反得永生。The prophet Jeremiah said: “It is because of the manifold steadfast love of the Lord that we shall not perish; for His mercy shall not fail.” We should have perished, but God had mercy on us and even gave us His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.感谢主，何等浩大的救恩，何以报答这份厚恩呢，惟有谦卑倒空，时时否定自己，行义，敬畏神，保守自己的心思和意念，谨慎警醒，远离恶事，带着使命奔赴那荣耀之地。Thank You, Lord, for such a great salvation. How can we repay this kindness? We can only be humble and empty ourselves, deny ourselves at all times, do righteousness, fear God, guard our hearts and minds, be cautious and alert, stay away from evil, and run with our mission toward that glorious place.
