【徒9:16】我也要指示他，为我的名必须受许多的苦难。【Acts9:16】I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”

为我的名必须为义受许多的苦难，这是扫罗此后一生的写照，他为了宣扬主的名，比别人更多为义受苦难。"For My name's sake, he must suffer many things"—this was the prophecy concerning Saul, later known as Paul. In his mission to proclaim the Lord's name, he endured more suffering for righteousness than others.屡次冒死、几乎丧命的危险不计其数，又饥又渴，多次不得食。受寒冷，赤身露体。He had been exposed to death again and again, and faced countless dangers, almost dying. I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. (2 Corinthians 11:27b). 除了这外面的事，还有为众教会挂心的事，天天压在他身上（林后11:28）。他被主拣选成为主的器皿，被呼召为义受许多苦难。Besides everything else, He faced daily the pressure of his concern for all the churches(2 Corinthians 11:28). Being chosen by the Lord to be the Lord’s vessel is a call filled  with suffering for righteousness.

他用命来坚守从主来的异象，是生是死都让耶稣显为大，高举神的名，不知道别的，只知道耶稣基督并他钉十字架。He held fast to the vision from the Lord with his life, making Jesus great whether by life or by death, exalting God’s name, knowing nothing except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 为义受苦难成为他与主建立亲密关系的惟一桥梁。Suffering for righteousness became the only bridge for him to establish an intimate relationship with the Lord.他鼓励安慰那愿意回应主苦难呼召的人：你们所遇见的试探，无非是人所能受的。神是信实的，必不叫你们受试探过于所能受的。在受试探的时候，总要给你们开一条出路，叫你们能忍受得住 (林前 10:13)。He encouraged and comforted those willing to respond to the Lord’s call to suffer: “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it."(1 Corinthians 10:13)

神的国度缺乏有能力的工人，这属天的能力必是历经为义受苦才能熬炼出来的，神用苦难来试炼圣徒，使圣徒因为义所受的苦难学了顺从。The kingdom of God lacks powerful workers, and this heavenly power can only be refined through enduring suffering for righteousness. God uses trials to test His saints, so that through the suffering for righteousness they learn obedience.主啊，你看着我就爱我，把我带入你的道路，为你的名必须受许多的苦难，让我与你的儿子有份。Lord, You look upon me with love, leading me into Your way. For Your name's sake, I must endure many sufferings for righteousness, allowing me to partake in the fellowship of Your Son.何等有福的呼召，使我能进入神的国，为义苦难是你爱的礼物，带我进入得胜最好的帮助。What a blessed calling it is, that enable me to enter God’s kingdom. Suffering for righteousness is Your gift of love, the greatest aid that leads me to victory.

多少属灵伟人因为义所受的苦难，越发释放出基督的馨香，满了神的祝福。Many spiritual giants, through their sufferings for righteousness, have increasingly released the fragrance of Christ, filled with God’s blessings.他们为义受苦的经历深深影响了一代又一代，激励信徒愿走十架窄路，使许多身处痛苦、艰难中的人得到了属天的亮光。Their experiences of suffering for righteousness have deeply impacted generation after generation, inspiring believers to walk the narrow path of the cross, bringing heavenly light to many in pain and difficulty. 为义受苦的保罗说：因为我算定今时的苦楚，不配与将来要显于我们的荣耀相比。是的，这至暂至轻的苦楚，要为我们成就极重无比永远的荣耀，因信，张开双臂感恩领受这化了妆的祝福。Paul, amidst his suffering for righteousness, said: “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”(Romans 8:18) Yes, our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2 Corinthians ‬4:17).
