【徒7: 49】主说：天是我的座位，地是我的脚凳，你们要为我造何等的殿宇？哪里是我安息的地方呢？【Acts7:49】“ ‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool.What kind of house will you build for me? says the Lord.Or where will my resting place be?

在司提反的叙述中他表达了神并不是住在人手所造的建筑物里，因为至高者并不住在人手所造的。因为世界万物所有的一切都是主手所造的。In Stephen's discourse, he expressed that God does not dwell in buildings made by human hands, for the Most High does not live in houses made by human hands.主说：天是我的座位，地是我的脚凳，你们要为我造何等的殿宇？哪里是我安息的地方呢？ For everything in the world and all its contents were made by the hand of the Lord. The Lord says, “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me? Where is my place of rest?” 神整天伸手招呼那悖逆行不善之道的百姓，让他们悔改归正，逃脱审判，进入圣洁，以神为神，神才得以安息。All day long God has held out His hands to disobedient and wayward people,urging them to repent and turn back, escape judgment, and enter into holiness, acknowledging God as their God, so that God may find rest.

神问：你们要为我造何等的殿宇？神看中的不是外在很尊贵华美的建筑，他看中的是哪里是他安息的地方。God asks, “What kind of house will you build for me?” What God values is not an outwardly magnificent and splendid building; He values where His place of rest is.当大卫向神提出要为神建圣殿的想法时，神对大卫说：“自从我领以色列人出埃及直到今日，我未曾住过殿宇，常在会幕和帐幕中行走。”（撒下7：6）When David proposed to God the idea of building a temple, God said to David, “I have not dwelt in a house from the day I brought the Israelites up out of Egypt to this day. I have been moving from place to place with a tent as my dwelling.” (2 Samuel 7:6) 在新约，耶稣说：我父作事直到如今，我也作事。In the New Testament, Jesus said, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.”

神提醒我们在自己的使命上觉醒，耶稣基督道成了肉身，住在我们中间，他代替我们承受了神对罪的震怒，因此我们有了得救的盼望。God reminds us to awaken to our mission. Jesus Christ became flesh and dwelt among us, bearing the wrath of God for our sins, thus giving us the hope of salvation.如保罗说：岂不知你们是神的殿，神的灵住在你们里头吗？”（林前3：16），As Paul said, “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” (1 Corinthians 3:16) 我们的身体就是圣灵的殿，每天当自洁，脱离卑贱的事，预备自己成为尊贵的器皿，每天用心灵和诚实敬拜你，让你在我们里面得安息。Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we should cleanse ourselves daily and be prepared to be instruments for special purposes, worshipping You in the spirit and in truth daily so that You may find rest within us.

看哪，神的帐幕在人间，他要与人同住，我们要作他的子民，神要亲自与我们同在，作我们的神。Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.哈利路亚，赞美主，你如此看重你所造的，差了你的独生爱子为我们的罪作了挽回祭，你赐下医治能力，使人心归回。Hallelujah, praise the Lord, for You value Your creation so much that You sent Your only begotten Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins. You bestowed healing power, turning hearts back to You.主啊，我的心要尊你为大，每天以你的信实为粮，照着你在我们里面运用的大能尽心竭力，敬畏主，遵命而行，为主摆上，单单讨主喜悦。Lord, my heart exalts you greatly; each day I feed on Your faithfulness. According to the great power at work within us, I will strive with all my heart,revering the Lord, obeying Your commands, offering myself to the Lord’s services to please only the Lord.
