2023-07-09 Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near 天国近了，你们应当悔改

Last week, five people entered the Kingdom of God through baptism. 上周，有五个人受洗进入了神的国。Today, we’ll touch on Matthew chapter 3, 今天，我们要来看马太福音第3章，that Jesus was baptised too. 耶稣也在那里受洗。We’re gonna look at this chapter in three points. 我们将从三个方面来看这一章。 1, Repentance enables entrance into the Kingdom of God. 悔改是天国的入口；2, What is repentance? 什么是悔改？3, True repentance that bears fruit opens heaven. 真心悔改所结的果子能将天打开。Let’s read Matt 3…我们来读马太福音第3章……

1, Repentance enables entrance into the Kingdom of God. (v.1-6) 悔改得进入神国（1-6节）

The beginning of this chapter tells us that John the Baptist was calling all people to repentance. 这一章的开头说到施洗约翰呼召所有的人悔改。Then Matthew quoted Isa 40:3 to tell us马太又引用赛四十章三节告诉我们 that John the Baptist was the one whom the prophet Isaiah prophesied hundreds of years before he came to prepare the way for the Lord Jesus. 施洗约翰就是先知以赛亚在他来为主耶稣预备道路之前几百年所预言的那一位。Again, we’re reminded of God’s sovereignty, 再次告诉我们神掌权，that all things don’t happen coincidently, 没有一件偶然的事，but happen according to God’s plan and His timing. 全是按照神的计划和时间发生。Here we see that John the Baptist looked a bit weird. 这段里讲到的施洗约翰看起来有点奇怪，His clothes were made with camel’s hair, 他的衣服是用骆驼毛做的，and his food was wild honey. 他的食物是野蜜。Why? coz he was patterned after the prophet Elijah 为什么？因他是照先知以利亚的样子 (2 Kings 王下1:8)。In the last two sentences of the last book of the OT, 在旧约最后一卷书的最后两句话中，God foretold that He would send the prophet Elijah to His people calling them to repent (Malachi 玛4:5-6). 神预言他将差遣先知以利亚到他的百姓那里呼召他们悔改。But, at that time Elijah actually was dead但那时以利亚其实已经死了。So apparently God wasn’t talking about the person Elijah. 所以神不是在说以利亚这个人 In Matt 17:12 Jesus confirmed that John the Baptist was the coming Elijah, 在马太福音17:12中，耶稣证实施洗约翰就是即将到来的以利亚， which means that John came in the spirit and power of Elijah. 这是说，约翰有以利亚的心志能力 God looks at what’s inside us.神看人看的是内里。

Now why is repentance so important? 为什么悔改如此重要?At the beginning of Jesus’ ministry, 耶稣开始传道的时候，he also preached the same message, 他也传讲了同样的信息，Matt 太4:7, repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is near.天国近了，你们要悔改。It’s clear, repentance is linked to the Kingdom of Heaven. 悔改很明显与天国有关。In other words, if you don’t repent, 换句话说，若不悔改，you can’t enter the Kingdom of Heaven. 你就不能进入天国。Why? 为什么? Because it’s about moving to another Kingdom. 因为这是关于搬到另一个王国。Let me make it clearer to you. 让我进一步向你解释。

When we were born, 当我们出生时，we were born into a Kingdom called darkness. 我们出生在一个叫做黑暗的王国里。It rules over us by its ways, principles, and laws. 它以自己的方式、法则和律来统治我们。But when we’re born again into God’s Kingdom, 但当我们重生进入神的国度时，everything is totally different. 一切都完全不一样。That’s why Jesus teaches us to pray the Lord’s prayer, 这就是为什么耶稣教导我们主祷文: “Your Kingdom come. “愿你的国降临，and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” 愿你的旨意行在地上，如同行在天上。” It’s saying that God’s way of ruling over the earth should be established in our lives. 这是在说神治理全地的法则应该在我们的生命中建立。What’s the difference between the governance of the Kingdom of darkness and the Kingdom of God?  黑暗国度的治理和神国度的治理有什么不同?In the Kingdom of darkness, 在黑暗的国度里，Satan rules people through pride, 撒但通过骄傲、selfishness, 自私、fear, 恐惧、manipulation,控制、jealousy, 嫉妒、sins, 罪恶、and bondages, 捆绑来统治人，so that people are kept in brokenness. 把人困在黑暗破败中。Darkness means that things are hidden黑暗意味着事情是隐藏的，Things remain covered and secret. 事情是秘密的。“This is my secret, “这是我的秘密，I don’t want anyone to know it…’ 我不想让任何人知道……”“Have you ever done this.” “你做过这种事吗?” “No, I haven’t.” “不，我没有。”

If we wanna cover it up, 如果我们想掩盖某事，we’ll tell lies easily. 我们很容易说谎。But if you dig down deep into the heart, 但如果你深挖你的内心，you’ll find that underneath everything you wanna cover up lies fear or shame, 你会发现，在你不想让人知道的事情背后，都是与惧怕或羞耻有关，which give evil spirits access to torment you. 这让邪灵有机会来折磨你。Because the Kingdom of darkness operates through our hidden struggles in life, 因为黑暗国度是借着我们生命里、struggles in relationships, marriages, lives. 人际关系中、婚姻里、生活中隐藏的挣扎来运行着。

When we don’t want face them, 当我们不想面对那些，or we don’t want anyone to know our hidden struggles, 或者我们不想让任何人知道我们隐藏的挣扎时，we actually expose that area to the dark powers. 我们实际上是把那个区域暴露给黑暗权势。When an evil spirit comes in because of fear, 当一个邪灵因惧怕进入我们内心时，it’ll create more problems in our lives, 它会在我们的生活中制造更多的问题，and will bring more wicked spirits to enter and torment us if we don’t deal with that. 如果我们不处理它，就会带来更多的邪灵来折磨我们。But God’s Kingdom is full of light. 但是神的国充满了光明。In the King’s life, 在这王的生命中，there’s no hidden darkness, 没有隐藏的黑暗，Jesus is light! 耶稣就是光!Jesus rescued us from the dark Kingdom 耶稣把我们从黑暗国度中拯救出来，and give us heavenly citizenship. 给了我们天上国民的身份，The Kingdom of light rules with truth, 光明的国度以真理、agape love, 无私的爱、holiness, 圣洁、justice, 公平、righteousness, 公义、joy, 喜乐、peace and all the good attributes of the King.和平，以及这位王的一切美德掌权。Therefore, after shifting to this Kingdom, 因此，在移民进入这个国度之后，God wants us to repent of our former way of thinking 神要我们悔改我们从前的思维方式，which have been formed by the culture and principles of the world. 那些都是被世界的文化和原则所塑造的。Three pictures I put on the screen, 我在屏幕上放了三张照片，which are all about worldly new year wishes from the East and the West: 都是世界关于东方和西方的新年愿望: “Happy New Year, celebrate with more beer.” “新年快乐，快乐就多多喝啤酒来庆贺” “Hope everything goes your way.” “万事如你的意。”“make more money and have fun every day.” “恭喜发财，每天玩的开心。” They are all about what the world thinks is good for us, 它们都是世界认为 对我们有意的，“be happy, “要开心，and have fun, 要玩得开心，and get what you want.” 要得到你想要的东西。”

What if I’m not happy？I want a divorce. 若我不开心怎么办？那我就离婚。If things don’t happen as I wish, I get grumpy. 如果事情没有如我所愿，那我就发火。They are the complete opposite of the idea of how to do life as heavenly citizens. 它们与天国国民的生活法则全然相反。We’re told to follow Jesus, 神教导我们要跟随耶稣，“not my will but the Father’s will to be done.” “不要照我的意思，乃照父的旨意成就。” Coz Father is the King who is love and justice, 因为天父是慈爱公义的王，I need to turn from my way of doing life, of doing marriage, and of doing relationships. 我需要转离我对人生、婚姻和人际关系的期望和处理方式。And allow His truth to expose every dark and hidden struggle lying within me 让祂的真理显明我内心的每一个黑暗和隐藏的挣扎，to drive out the rule of darkness in me bit by bit, 一点一点地赶出我内心黑暗权势，so that I can be transformed into the King Jesus’ likeness 使我可以被改变成耶稣的形象。In this age, 在这个世代，His Kingdom has come in an invisible way 神的国度以一种看不见的方式降临，to prepare His people, 来预备祂的子民，so now we’re learning how to deny the desires of the self, 所以我们现在学习如何舍去自己的私欲，and allow the King’s will to be done in our lives, 让神的旨意行在我们的生活中，and in serving the body of Christ, 行在我们的服事里，that we may foretaste the blessing and sweetness of a governmental shift in us on earth,  这样我们就可以在地上预先品尝到 内里一个统治权势的改变所带来的祝福和甘甜，to prepare for His Kingdom coming visibly to rule in its fullness when He returns. 去为祂再来带着祂的国来全备掌权做好准备，So repentance is the key. What does it mean to repent? 所以悔改是关键。悔改又是什么意思呢?

2, What is repentance? 什么是悔改？

v. 8, produce fruit in keeping with repentance. 第8节，结出与悔改相称的果子。Repentance isn't a “feelings” word. 悔改不是一个“感觉”的词。We feel sorry about our sins, 我们为自己的罪感到懊悔，and we say, 我们说: “sorry, Lord, I’ve sinned against you.” “主啊，对不起，我得罪了你。”This is a good confession. 这是一个好的认罪祷告，But repentance is more than that. 但悔改不止于此。It’s about turning from what I think is right to what God thinks is right; 悔改是从我自己认为对的事情转向神认为对的事情; it’s about turning from my own way to God’s way 悔改是从我自己的方式转向神的方式，and turning from a “me” centred lifestyle to a “Christ” centred lifestyle. 从以“我”为中心的生活方式转向以“基督”为中心的生活方式。I must decrease, 我必衰微，Jesus must increase in me.耶稣必在我里面兴旺。In my ministry, 在我的事工中，God showed me multiple times that humans’ judgement is completely different from God’s. 神多次向我显明人的判断和神的是完全不同。Recently, a mum came to me crying, 最近，一位妈妈哭着找我，and complaining about her teenage daughter, 抱怨她十几岁的女儿，“we’ve spoiled her, “我们把她宠坏了，she doesn’t listen to me. 她不听我的话。she is selfish; 她很自私，she does whatever she wants…她想干什么就干什么……Balal…等等……” I was surprised, 我很惊讶，coz right before she came to me a few days ago, 因为就在她来找我的前几天，God showed me something about the girl in a dream, 神在梦中向我揭示了一点那女孩的事，which was a totally different version. 这是一个完全不同的版本。The girl was hurt because of rejection in her childhood, 这个女孩小时候因为被拒绝而受伤，and she looked lonely and sad, 在梦里她有点孤独又伤心，sitting on the ground in their driveway. 坐在家门口的车道上。I went to her and asked, 我走过去问她，“what’s going on here?” “你怎么啦?” She answered me with tears in her eyes, 她眼里含着泪水回答我: “Mum has kicked me out of the house.” “妈妈叫我滚。” The dream was finished. 梦结束了。

From that case, I again saw an issue of governance. 从这个案例中，我又看到谁掌权的问题。Living under the rule of the former kingdom 生活在黑暗国度的统治下，we’ve got a habit of living by our own judgement, 我们养成了按照自己的判断、our own ways, 自己的方式、our own abilities, and our own ideas about life. 自己的能力和看法来过人生的习惯。And now shifting to God’s Kingdom, 现在移民到神的国度，everything is about God’s judgement, 一切都是关于神的断定，God’s order, and His ideas. 神的秩序和神的旨意。If I still live under the old ways of thinking, 如果我仍然生活在旧的思维方式下，I give the enemy a chance to continue to destroy my relationships and steal blessings from me. 我就给了敌人继续破坏我的人际关系 和偷窃我的祝福的机会。So repentance is an ongoing process of recognizing my own ways, 因此，悔改是一个持续的过程，认出什么是自己的方式，my own thoughts, 自己的想法，my own judgements, 自己的判断，my own…自己的……and when you realise, 当你意识到 “oh, this’s my own way…” 这又是我自己的方式….It’s not for you to be discouraged这不叫你灰心, or disappointed about yourself…或对自己失望it’s for you to forsake them 是叫你弃绝它们，and for you to get aligned with Jesus’ attitude and will, 让你与耶稣的心和旨意合一，so that you may produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit through everything you do, 借着做每一件事，结出圣灵的果子，and God’s Kingdom may establish its rule in you 让神国在你里面建立祂的治理，and His will may be worked out on earth through you. 使神旨意可以借着你行在地上。Therefore, the more we align ourselves with Jesus, 因此，我们越与耶稣的心合一，the deeper we draw from heavenly resources. 我们就越能支取天上的能力. It means that we’ll carry an open heaven with us这意味着 我们会带着‘天开了’的实际，God’s favour and blessings, signs and wonders may be manifested tangibly through us on earth.神的祝福，神迹奇事将借我们显明在地上 That’s what Jesus wants us to be and to do on earth这是主耶稣想要我们得着的. So true repentance bears fruit that opens heaven. 所以真正的悔改会带来‘天开了’的果子

3, True repentance bears fruit that opens heaven. 真正的悔改会带来天开了的果子

v.9-12, John the Baptist said this to the Pharisees and Sadducees, 第9-12节，施洗约翰对法利赛人和撒都该人说: “Do you think you call Abraham your father “不要以为有亚伯拉罕为你们的祖宗，so that you can escape God’s judgment? 就可以逃脱审判。It’s impossible.” 这不可能。”Same for us, 我们也一样，“do I think I call myself Christian, “我称自己为基督徒，so that I can escape God’s judgment?” 是为了逃脱神的审判吗?”No. 不。Israel, the son of God can’t, 以色列是神的儿子，他不能，neither can we. 我们也不能。We must bear the fruit of the Spirit to show that we act like Jesus, 我们必须结出圣灵的果子来表明我们像耶稣，so that we’ll be able to share in God’s inheritance. 这样我们才能与神的产业有份。I’m talking about losing inheritance not losing salvation. 我是在说失去承受产业，不是失去救恩。1 Cor 6:9 clearly says 林前6:9清楚地说，if we don’t get changed 如果我们不改变, like sexual sins, 比如性犯罪、or idolatry, 偶拜像、or greed for money, or gossip, etc, 贪财、闲言等，and get ready for the rule of the coming Kingdom of God, 并为即将要来的神的国度做好准备，we can’t inherit the Kingdom of God.我们就不能承受神的国度。Then John goes on to say 约翰接着说，that he baptised with water for repentance, 他是用水给人施洗，叫人悔改，but Jesus will baptise people with the Holy Spirit and fire. 但耶稣要用圣灵和火给人施洗。What does that mean? 这是什么意思?It means that the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire is necessary, 这意味着圣灵和火的洗礼是必要的，in terms of bearing fruit as a result of repentance. 就悔改的结果子而言。That’s why Jesus came to show us what happened in his baptism from v.13-17. 这就是为什么耶稣从第13-17节向我们展示他洗礼时所发生的事情。

At the moment Jesus was coming out of the water, 耶稣受了洗，随即从水里上来。heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. 天忽然为他开了，他就看见　神的灵仿佛鸽子降下，落在他身上And a voice from heaven said, “this is my Son, whom I love, with him I am well pleased.”。从天上有声音说：“这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。” The triune God appeared at that time. 三位一体的神在那个时候出现了。It reminds me of my own water baptism. 这让我想起了我自己的洗礼。On the day of my baptism, 在我受洗的那天，I took more than 10 people with me to receive baptism, 我带了十多人一起去受洗，coz I had already planted the home church by God’s signs and wonders. 因为借着神的神迹奇事我已经建立了家里的教会。On our way to a beach, 在我们去海滩的路上，it was raining. 天正在下雨。But as we were standing on the sand praying, 但是当我们站在沙滩上祷告时，suddenly a beam of light shone on us, 突然一束光照在我们身上，somebody shouted, 有人喊道: “heaven has opened.” “天开了。” But I was disappointed when I came out of the water 但当我从水里出来的时候，我感到很失望，coz God didn’t say, 因为神没有说: “this is my Son, whom I love, with him I am well pleased. Why didn’t God say that?” “这是我的爱子，我所喜悦的。为什么神没有说这话？” How silly I was! But God didn’t despise my silly enquiry. 哈哈，我挺傻的! 但是神并没有藐视我这傻傻的问题。Later, He answered my question, 后来，他回答了我的问题: “Only with Him I’m well pleased, “只有他是我喜悦的，I love you, 我爱你，but it doesn’t mean I’m pleased with you. 但这并不意味着我对你满意。If you live according to your nature, 如果你按照你的本性生活，you’re hostile to Me. 你就是与我为敌。But if you turn away from the thoughts of the sinful nature, 但如果你转离私欲的思想，yield fruit through My Spirit, 顺服我的灵结出果子 the more you’re transformed into My Son’s image through everything you do, 借着你所做的去操练舍己，当你越来越像我儿子，the more I’ll be pleased.” 我就越喜悦你。” I learnt that true repentance leads us to build ourselves into the image of the Son Jesus Christ. 我认识到，真正的悔改引导我们磨成儿子耶稣基督的形象。

Here, how far did Jesus walk from Galilee to the Jordan river to be baptized? 这里，耶稣从加利利走了多远到约旦河受洗?Google says that it was 70 miles, 谷歌说它有70英里，more than one hundred Kilometres.超过100公里。Like driving from Christchurch to Hammer Springs which takes almost an hour and a half. 比如，像从克赖斯特彻奇开车到哈默斯普林斯那样，差不多要一个半小时。Why did the Lord Jesus walk so far to find John the Baptist to be baptized? 为什么主耶稣要走那么多路来找施洗约翰施洗?

V.14 says, John recognised who Jesus was, 第14节说，约翰认出耶稣是谁，he said to Jesus, 他对耶稣说: “I need to be baptised by You, are you coming to me?’ . “我需要你施洗，你反而到我这里来吗?”Jesus said, 耶稣说: “it’s proper for us to do this to fulfil all righteousness.” “我们理当这样行，尽诸般的义。”In other words, 换句话说，he was saying, “this is God’s order for me to submit to your ministry”. 他是在说，“这是神给我的次序的命令，要我顺服你的事工”。As soon as he submitted to the Father’s order, 当他服从天父的次序的命令时，heaven was opened, 天堂就打开了，the Holy Spirit came on him, 圣灵降临在他身上，he got access to heavenly resources and then he launched into his own ministry他得到了天上的资源，然后他开始了自己的事工。So what’s the Kingdom principle here that we can learn? 那么，我们可以从中学到什么神国度的法则呢? What are the elements related to fulfilling righteousness and pleasing God? 尽诸般的义和讨神喜悦的要素是什么? So that we may see God’s power operating powerfully in our lives and in our ministry. 因此我们能看到神的大能在我们的生活和事奉中大能地运行。It’s very clear, where there’s submission to God’s orders很明显，当我们服从神的次序的命令 and we deny our own bitter judgements to show honour to others, 不顺服苦毒的论断，并去尊重他人时，there we find responses from heaven. 我们就会得到天上来的回应。 Coz submission and respect for all people are the result of repentance, which opens heaven. 因为顺服和尊重众人是悔改的果子，这可以叫天开了。

1 Peter 2:17 says, 彼得前书2:17说，show proper respect to everyone (honour all people nkjv)…要尊敬众人(尊敬所有的人NKV).Fear God. Honor the king.” 敬畏神。尊敬君王。” Honor people in authority not to judge them coz God is the judge. 尊敬在上有权柄的，不去论断他们，因为神是审判的。We’re told to Honor all people, 圣经告诉我们要尊敬众人, honor parents (Eph 6:2); 要尊敬父母(弗6:2); wives honor husbands (Eph 弗5:33); 妻子尊敬丈夫; husbands honour wives (1 Peter 彼前3:7) 丈夫尊重妻子。We’re not taught to respect someone who deserves our respect.，圣经没有教导当尊重我们自己觉得配得尊重的人。We’re told to honour all people, 却是告诉我们要尊重众人，regardless of their economic, social, or academic status, 不管他们的经济、社会或教育地位如何，for all people were made in God’s image.因为人都是按照神的形象造的。 

In summary, 总而言之，repentance enables entrance into the Kingdom, repentance is not just to say, “I’m sorry…” 悔改才能进入神国度，悔改不只是说:“对不起……” True repentance leads us to turn away from a life of self-centredness to Christ-centredness, 真正的悔改导致我们从以自我为中心的生活转向以基督为中心的生活，and to produce fruit and ensures we carry an open heaven to bless others.并且结出果子，使我们可以带着天上的资源去祝福他人。What is God speaking to you this afternoon? 今天你得着什么? Closing Prayer: 结束祷告：

Thank You Jesus for surrendering Your life upon that cross, to bring us into Your Kingdom of light and love. 感谢你耶稣在十字架上舍弃了你的生命，把我们带进你光明和爱的国度。We’re loved. 谢谢你爱我们。 We’re valued. 谢谢你看重我们。We’re honoured not because we’re good but because of Your love. 我们被你看重不是因为我们自己好而是因为你的爱。 Let’s give our own thanks to the Lord with our eyes closed. 让我们闭上眼睛来感谢神。

We thank You for calling us to repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is near. 我们感谢你呼召我们悔改，因为天国近了。We thank You for the privilege and honour of being saved and being made into Kingdom citizens. 我们感谢你 这是何等的荣耀，让我们可以得救并成为国度的子民。And thank You for allowing us to stay on the earth for transformation through healing, giving, serving, honouring, and loving one another. 感谢你让我们留在世上，借着医治、奉献、服事、去尊重和去彼此相爱来改变我们。

Right now we cry to Your Spirit for help, 现在我们向你的圣灵呼求帮助， you can ask the Holy Spirit, 你可以问圣灵: “Is there any secret sin in my heart? “我心里有隐藏的罪吗? Is there any secret struggle that I don’t wanna anyone to discover? 有没有什么隐藏的不可告人，怕人知道的挣扎? Are they related to any rejection or hurt? 他们是否与任何拒绝或伤害有关? Is there anyone that I need to forgive?” 我需要去饶恕的人吗?”

You can say, 你可以说，“Father, forgive me, 父啊，赦免我，I have done this and that, 我曾做过这做过那，I judged people in authority and power；我曾论断有权柄的人；I’ve been jealous of someone；我曾嫉妒某人；I dishonoured my parents…我曾不尊重我的父母，I dishonoured my wife, or my husband…我不尊重过我的妻子（丈夫）；I dishonoured You. 我也不尊重你。You’re my loving Father, who paid the price to rescue me, 你是我慈爱的父，你为救我付出了代价，and You have given me Your Spirit to dwell within me. 你把你的灵赐给我住在我里面。I don’t wanna grieve the Holy Spirit and dishonour You, 我不想使圣灵担忧，羞辱你，so that I put myself under the previous rule of the kingdom of darkness，以致我把自己放在先前黑暗国度的统治之下，to have blessings stolen from me continuously/.不断地从我身上被偷走祝福。

Lord Jesus, I receive Your healing right now into my heart….I choose to forgive…主耶稣，我现在接受你在我心里的医治，我选择饶恕……I let go of the control…我弃绝操纵In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, 奉主耶稣基督的圣名，I take authority in Jesus name to break agreement with hidden struggles, 借着耶稣名的大能，断开我与隐藏挣扎的连结，I break the hold of all controlling powers of fear, shame, anger, unforgiveness, jealousy, judgement, bitterness.破除所有操纵，惧怕，羞耻，愤怒，不饶恕，嫉妒，论断，苦毒的权势；I rebuke all those evil powers to go in Jesus name.我以耶稣的名斥责所有这些邪恶的势力离开我；I release love and blessing to my parents, to my wife, to my husband, to all people that You’ve made. 我释放爱和祝福给我的父母，给我的妻子，给我的丈夫，给所有你所造的人。 I choose to value them just as You value me. 我选择尊重他们，就像你尊重我一样。Thank You Lord”. 感谢主。”

Now you can go to someone to tell them that you respect them because they carry the image of God. 现在你可以去找个人，去告诉他们你尊重他们因为他们照神的形象所造。
